Michele's Rehab Resolutions 2009

A string of injuries (priformis, hamstring, SI joint, IT pain, hip socket pain/restriction , a mild groin pull . . . ) and a diagnosis of breast cancer have kept me from really attacking my running goals this past year. Seems I can beat cancer, but not the various leg maladies I’m still sporting.

Seems Daunting When You List Them All Out

It really does seem daunting looking at them all. As I was scribbling them out, I got the warm fuzzy feeling, but as I look at the entire list, its a little more chilling than I thought it might be. Ah well .... looking forward to the challenge

2008 Contest Winners

The year is coming to an end and with it our annual contests.

Kahtoola microspikes?

Hi, I'm new here, looking forward to participating in some CFA events in 2009! I've been thinking of getting some Kahtoola microspikes for wintry trails, I notice that someone is wearing them in the photos from Galbraith - wondered if anyone has any positive or negative comments about them?

Sibylle's 2009 Fitness Goals

I've been rather timid announcing any athletic goals for 2009.  After my injury streak from last year, I didn't want to jinx my training with any lofty aspirations...

But, I guess I should put my plans for 2009 down, it's so easy to loose track:

Ean Jackson's 2009 Fitness Resolutions

Last year was one of false starts and injuries.  As I write these resolutions, I am rolling and icing a left foot that is messed up with plantar fasciitis and a bit miffed I won't be able to run 50K on New Years Day.  Ah, but the glass is half-full...
